Jeeter's new recyclable packaging highlights the brand's dedication to reducing waste and promoting sustainability. In a market often dominated by single-use plastics, this shift not only conserves resources but also appeals to eco-conscious consumers. By balancing compliance with environmental responsibility, Jeeter reinforces its commitment to quality while contributing to a greener future. Jeeter cares.
This packaging initiative is only our first step in an ambitious five-year plan to become fully sustainable. At Jeeter, we're committed to pushing the boundaries of environmental responsibility across every facet of our business. As we continue to innovate and refine our practices, we aim to lead the conversation on sustainability within the cannabis industry—setting new benchmarks that align quality with a greener future.
All of our jars and tubes now contain at least 25% Certified Post-Consumer Recycled Plastic. This means the plastic comes from products used and recycled by consumers, not from leftover materials in manufacturing (Post-Industrial Recycled Plastic), which is typically recycled anyway and has a significantly lower environmental impact.
A zero-waste injection system has been introduced to reduce material waste and energy usage during production. This technology reduces total plastic usage by approximately 20–30% in the manufacturing process, significantly cutting down the total amount of plastic needed to produce each product.
Our new packaging additionally reduces energy usage by over 13% and water consumption by 6% relative to previous packaging (based on research and reports comparing the manufacturing practices of PCR PS and Virgin PS).
